Governor Lkhagvasuren receives Ambassador-Designate extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Mongolia, his excellency Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho

The Governor of the Bank of Mongolia, Lkhagvasuren held a meeting with the Ambassador-Designate Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Mongolia, residing in Beijing His Excellency Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho on 29th March 2023.

During the meeting, the Governor gave an overview of the Mongolian banking sector, the legal environment for foreign banks interested in operating in Mongolia and exchanged views with the Ambassador on the areas of cooperation with emphasis on the Islamic/Participation banking. 

The Governor expressed his interest and commitment to further the cooperation through holding talks with the representatives of the Central Bank of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Islamic banking and the Bahrain Institute of banking and finance.
