Public Education and Information Center’s (PEIC) main functions are to improve the impact of monetary policy decisions, manage inflation expectations, enhance financial sector stability, strengthening the Central bank’s indendence, transparency and accountability and to increase confidence in central bank through its main instruments of communication.
Following are the key aspects of PEIC’s respective divisions
Information and Inquiry Unit:
- Implement "National program of Financial Literacy", cooperate with relevant institutions;
- Release and distribute reports and research papers of the Bank of Mongolia
- Organize research conferences and article contests among university students, researchers and general public
- Respond to questions received through email and phone, and handle complaints from general public
